Our place is in Skyking Chambers at 374 Lamington Road. If you know Mumbai, you know that Lamington Road is a total madhouse of electronics and people. We are located exactly opposite the bus stop, which makes for a lot of noise throughout the day. You can hear the conductors shouting and the buses pulling in every few minutes. The building itself is an older one, and our office is just a small part of it. It’s packed with boxes and electronic components from floor to ceiling in some spots. We don’t have much room for anything other than work. The stairs are a bit narrow, and the whole place has that old city smell of dust and paper. We’ve been operating from here for a long time, and we’ve seen the shops around us change owners dozens of times. Our desks are old and the chairs squeak a bit, but they do the job. We spend most of our time testing parts or answering questions from people who wander in from the street. It’s a very busy atmosphere, and you have to be okay with a bit of chaos to work here. We don’t have any fancy marketing materials or a slick front desk. It’s just a functional space where we handle the daily grind of the electronics trade. Most days we are too busy to even notice the crowd outside. It’s just how life is on this street.
