Moni Plast

We've been here in Jogeshwari East for a while now, tucked away in Room Number 20 on the first floor of the Thakur building. It’s not a big fancy place, just a workspace where we handle all our plastic work every day. You have to walk up the stairs and you’ll find us surrounded by bags and molds. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the production, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We started out small and stayed that way because it works for us. Most days it is just the sound of the machines running and the guys moving stuff around. Sometimes the lighting isn't the best, especially in the corners where we stack the old inventory, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit of a climb up here, but people from around the neighborhood know the spot. We don't really do much in the way of decorating because we’re too busy making sure the orders are ready on time. The air feels a bit heavy with the smell of warm plastic sometimes, but you get used to it after ten minutes. We just show up, do the work, and close the shutters when the sun goes down. It's nothing special to look at from the outside, but inside, we keep things moving as best as we can. We've seen the area change a lot over the years, yet this room stays pretty much the same.
