If you are looking for us, we are down at Kalachowki, specifically Po Kanbivade on Rajmahal Road, number 5. The shop is tucked away a bit, but locals know where to find us. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but Rajmahal Road usually has a lot of movement. I’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the current shade of off-white hides the scuffs well enough. We handle a lot of communication stuff, mostly phones and things related to them. My desk is usually a mess of papers and small screws that I forget to put back in the bins. It gets quite warm in the middle of the day, so we usually keep the door propped open with a heavy brick to let a breeze in. You can hear the sounds of the city clearly from here—honking cars and people shouting to their friends. We don't have any fancy displays or bright flashing lights. It’s just a counter, some chairs, and the shelves where we keep the stock. Most of our regulars are people who live in the nearby buildings and stop in on their way home from work. We just keep things simple and try to get the work done before the sun goes down and we head home ourselves. It is a long day usually but it is what we know.
