Mobile Tracker

Mobile Tracker is based right here in Mumbai. We operate out of a small shop that is always filled with the glow of phone screens and the smell of soldering flux. Being in such a big city means there is never a shortage of broken phones or people looking for help with their devices. Our workspace is tiny, basically just a long counter with various magnifying lamps and precision screwdrivers. We spend our hours squinting at tiny circuit boards and trying to pry open stubborn casings. It is a bit of a chaotic setup with boxes of spare parts and cables tangling everywhere. The noise of Mumbai's traffic is always there in the background, but we get used to it. People come in all day with cracked screens or batteries that won't charge anymore. We try to be as quick as we can, but some jobs are just fiddly and take time. It is not a corporate service center with a numbering system. You just walk in and talk to us across the counter. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a part to arrive from the warehouse across town. We keep a diary of all the jobs, but it is mostly just scribbles that we understand. It is a practical little business that keeps us on our toes. There is something satisfying about seeing a phone turn back on after it seemed completely dead. We just keep plugging away at it.
