At Mobile To Mobile in Mumbai, we keep things pretty basic. The name kind of says it all because we spend most of our time helping people move their data or trading one device for another. Mumbai is a fast-moving place and people are always upgrading or breaking their stuff. We are a small team, just a few of us who have lived in the city our whole lives. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have a few glass cabinets and a workbench in the back where the real work happens. You’ll usually find a pile of old parts and some tools scattered around because we are always in the middle of a job. We sell screen protectors, basic covers, and those little pins you need to open your SIM tray. A lot of people come in because they forgot their passcode or their charging port is full of pocket lint. We don't give people a hard time or use big technical words. We just explain what we see and what we can do about it. The shop gets a bit messy by the end of the day, but we clean it up and start over the next morning. It’s just a normal local business trying to stay busy in a city that never stops. We have some regulars who come in just to see what's new or to ask for advice on a phone they bought somewhere else. We don't mind chatting even if they don't buy anything today.
