Mobile For Mumbai

We are located out in the Kadodara area of Mumbai. It’s a place that is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. Our shop handles mobile phones and all the things that go with them. It’s not a huge store with bright neon lights, just a regular spot on the street where people bring their phones when they stop working or when they need a new charger. We have been here for a while, and we see a lot of the same faces every week. People drop by to chat as much as they do to buy things. The counter is usually covered with screen guards and small tools for fixing things. It can get a bit hectic when three or four people come in at the same time wanting their screens fixed immediately. We just tell them to wait a bit or come back after a chai. The Kadodara streets are pretty lively, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We stay open late most nights because that is when people actually have time to look at phones. It’s a simple life, really. We see a lot of broken glass and dead batteries, and we do what we can to help out. We don't have a big corporate strategy or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes through the door.
