M.K. Thakkar

M.K. Thakkar is located on the 4th floor of Malhotra House. We are right across from the GPO on W H Marg in the Fort area of Mumbai. This part of the city is always moving, and there’s never a quiet moment with all the traffic outside. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of history to it. We’ve been in this office for a long time. It’s a bit crowded with all the files, samples, and stacks of paper, but that’s just how we work. The elevator can be a bit temperamental, so sometimes we just take the stairs. Our space isn't a showroom; it's a functional office where we handle the business side of things. We spend most of our time on calls or dealing with the logistics of moving goods. The humidity in Mumbai can make the office feel a bit stuffy, so the windows are usually open to catch whatever breeze comes off the coast. It’s a small team here, and we’ve all been through plenty of busy seasons together. We don't have a polished corporate image or anything like that. We are just a local business trying to keep up with the pace of the city. We focus on getting the daily tasks done and making sure our clients are taken care of. It’s a busy, honest life here in Fort.
