Mizoram Agro & Allied Products

We operate out of Room No. 004 in the M.N. Desouza Compound, which is tucked away behind the Roopam Hardware Store on Khairani Road. It's a busy part of Sakinaka, and finding our door can be a bit tricky if you don't know the Mangubai Society layout. We deal with agricultural products, mostly getting things from Mizoram and helping them find a place in the Mumbai market. It is a small space, and we often have sacks or boxes stacked up near the entrance. The office smells a bit like earth and dried goods most of the time. There are only a few of us here, and we spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or coordinating with local vendors. It's not a flashy business by any means. We deal with the realities of transport, spoiled goods, and shifting prices every single day. Being in this part of Mumbai means there is constant noise and people moving around outside. We’ve been in this compound for a while, and the other business owners are like a little community. We share news and sometimes help each other out when things get backed up. We don't have a big corporate structure. We just focus on the products we have and making sure they get where they need to go without too much trouble. It is hard work, but it keeps us grounded and connected to the land.
