At Meters & Valves Trading Co, we handle exactly what the name says. The shelves in the back are pretty much full of different parts and metal pieces of all sizes. It can look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where every single piece is kept. The Iskcon Bopal Road area has a lot of energy and we like being here. We’ve been here for a long time and know most of the people on this block. We aren't the type to wear suits to work. Usually, we've got a bit of grease on our hands or dust on our shirts from moving heavy stock around. The building at number 28 is older but it’s sturdy and keeps us dry. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking the inventory on the desk. It isn't a glamorous job but it is important for the people who need these specific parts. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes things a bit slow, so we take a short break then. We just focus on getting the right valves and meters to the people who ask for them.
