Out here on Nepeansea Road in Mumbai, we are based in the Chandralok building, specifically in the A Wing on the third floor. Being in this part of Maharashtra means we are right in the thick of things. The office at 302 is where we handle all the enterprise work. It’s a bit of an older building, but it has its own character and we’ve made the space our own over the years. We usually start the morning by going through the mail and catching up on what happened overnight. The rooms are mostly filled with cabinets and desks, as we have a lot of records to maintain. Nepeansea Road is a busy stretch, so there is always a hum of traffic outside our windows. We are a team that prefers to just get on with the job. There isn't a lot of standing around. We deal with various aspects of the business, so one day might be all about logistics and the next might be purely administrative. It’s not a large office, so we all know what everyone else is working on. Lunchtime usually involves someone going out to grab snacks for the group. We don’t really have a formal atmosphere; it’s more about getting the work done so we can head home. The view of the city from up here is okay, but we spend most of our time looking at our screens or paperwork. It is just a normal office life.
