Metco Trading Co

Yusuf Meherali Road is always jammed. Metco Trading Co is on the second floor of Commerce Chambers. You have to walk past the Zakaria Masjid to find us. The stairs are a bit steep and there's always someone moving crates around. We deal with trading stuff. It’s mostly boxes, invoices, and phone calls. The office isn't much to look at, just a place where we keep the books and talk to suppliers. On Fridays, it gets really crowded outside because of the masjid, so we usually plan our deliveries around that. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just how this part of town is. We have these old metal cupboards full of files from years ago. We probably don't need half of them, but we keep them anyway. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually when we take a break. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just work with people we've known for years. It’s all very straightforward. If you come by, you’ll see us surrounded by stacks of paper and maybe a few samples of what we are trading that week. It’s just a normal trading office in a very busy part of the city. We keep the windows shut to block out some of the noise, but you can still hear the honking and people shouting. We are located at number 79 in the building. It is just a regular workplace for us.
