Mechelonic Engineers Pvt Ltd is based over at 8, Kanchan Krupa, on P. K. Road in Mulund West, Mumbai. It’s a decent spot, though the traffic on P. K. Road can be a real headache some days. We’ve been at this address for a good number of years now. Even though we are a private limited company, we don't really go for that high-end corporate feel. Our office is pretty basic, with just enough room for the desks and all the technical manuals we need. We handle engineering projects, mostly the kind of things that keep us busy from early morning until late. Mumbai is a fast city, but we try to keep a steady pace here. We aren't interested in being the biggest name out there; we just want to do right by the people who hire us. There’s a lot of paperwork that comes with the business, but we prefer the actual engineering side of things. Kanchan Krupa has become like a second home to most of the staff. We know the local tea stall and the other shop owners around here. It’s a community. We don't use flashy brochures or big sales pitches. People usually find us because they need something fixed or built, and they know we’ve been here a long time. It’s just a regular shop where we do our best with what we have. It gets hot in the summer but we keep the work moving.
