Mech Auto Systems

Mech Auto Systems operates out of a small space in the Gilburt Compound over in Sakinaka. If you know Narayan Nagar Road, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and vans moving in and out all day long. We are tucked away in the Shetrunjay Society area, specifically at 16/5. Most days, our hands are covered in grease and the floor has a few oil spots that never really go away no matter how much we scrub them. It is an industrial kind of life here. We have tools hanging on the walls and spare parts piled up on the heavy metal shelves. The noise from the other workshops in the compound is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We spend most of our time looking at engines or fixing systems that have stopped working. It is hot work, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roof of the shed. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background to keep things lively. People from the society often drop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about their vehicles. We don’t have a big office or anything like that, just a couple of plastic chairs and a lot of machinery. It’s a honest way to make a living and the work keeps us on our toes from morning until late evening.
