Mayank Plastic

Our place is in Malad West, inside the Satya Triveni Towers at Ramdev Nagar. We are right across from the Karnavati Club, which makes it easy for people to find us. We deal in all kinds of plastic items. If you walk in, you will see stacks of buckets, containers, and household stuff piled up high. It is a bit of a maze sometimes when we get a big shipment in. The shop is bright but gets quite hot during the summer months because of all the plastic around. We have a few fans that help a little bit. Most of our customers are locals who need something for their kitchen or bathroom. We don't use any high-tech systems; it's mostly just writing things down and keeping track of the inventory manually. The shelves are a bit crowded and we often have to move three things just to get to one item at the back. It’s a typical neighborhood store where we know a lot of the people who walk through the door. We spend the mornings organizing the displays and the afternoons serving customers. It is steady work, and we like being in this part of Malad. The noise from the club and the main road is always there, but we don't notice it much anymore. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the stock levels for the week. It is a simple life in the shop.
