Mateshwari Mobile Centre

Mateshwari Mobile Centre is right on Khar Pali Road. It is a busy part of Khar West, and there is always something going on outside our door with the rickshaws and vendors. I started working here because I like being around gadgets and talking to people. We have a little bit of everything related to mobile phones. You can find cases, chargers, and sometimes even used phones that people traded in for a newer one. The shop is small, so we have to use every bit of wall space for the hanging accessories. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. Most of our regulars come from the nearby buildings. They usually want a quick fix or just a new screen protector put on properly. I’ve gotten pretty good at doing that without leaving any bubbles under the glass. Khar Pali Road has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed here in the same spot. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name over the door. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to do things the old-fashioned way for a bit. It’s a lot of work keeping everything in order, but it’s what we do. People trust us because we’ve been here and they know where to find us if something goes wrong with their device. We just try to be helpful to the folks living around here.
