Marvel Furnishing

Marvel Furnishing has been sitting here in Andheri West for a long time now. You can find us right under the Alembic Bridge, which gets pretty loud with all the traffic overhead throughout the day. We are located inside the Bratamadutta Compound, not too far from the PM Banquet hall where all those big weddings happen. The shop itself is usually full of rolls of fabric and different samples for curtains and sofas that we keep stacked up in the corners. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we keep things moving. We usually spend our mornings cutting cloth and talking to locals who walk in from the neighborhood. There isn’t much fancy about the place, just a lot of hard work and heaps of material everywhere you look. My desk is usually covered in measuring tapes and small scraps of velvet or cotton. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit because we have so many orders waiting to be picked up. We don't really do much advertising because people around the bridge just know where we are. It’s a busy spot and the tea stall nearby keeps us going when the afternoon slump hits. The light isn't always great in the back of the shop, but we know where everything is kept.
