Marutipolymer

Marutipolymer has its workshop in Goregaon 3rd stage, specifically in the 1st Block. We are situated West of Chord Road at number 105. It’s an industrial area so there is always the sound of machines and trucks passing by. We deal with plastic polymers and manufacturing different parts. It’s not a clean job. There is always a bit of dust or smell of heated plastic in the air. We’ve been at this address for several years now. The space is filled with bags of raw material and finished goods waiting to go out. We have a few guys working the machines. They know the rhythm of the day. It’s mostly about making sure the molds are right and the heat is steady. Goregaon has changed so much with all the new buildings, but this block stays pretty much the same. We don’t have a fancy office or a receptionist. If someone comes by, they just walk into the shed and find me or one of the workers. It’s practical work. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because they need something specific made. The floor is concrete and has some cracks from the heavy pallets. We just work from morning until the sun goes down and then lock up the big metal shutters. It is a long day but it is good work. We keep the machines running steady.
