We operate out of Gandhi Nagar in the Worli area. It is a very busy part of Mumbai, as anyone who lives or works here knows well. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular office and storage space for our goods. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or handling all the paperwork for the daily orders. Worli is a good spot because we are fairly central, but the traffic getting here can be a real headache in the afternoons. Inside the office, it is mostly just desks and piles of catalogs or samples. We have stuff coming in and going out to customers all the time. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes around Gandhi Nagar, and we have to go out and help the drivers navigate the turns. It takes a lot of coordination to keep things moving. We aren't a huge team, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. The air conditioning works most of the time, which we are thankful for in this heat. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the long lists of what needs to be shipped out next. It is just a steady job for us. We see the same faces every day, from the courier guys to the person at the tea stall right outside our building. It is just the way we do things here every day.
