Ashapura Overseas

You can find Ashapura Overseas over at No. 534 Kalbadevi Road. We are specifically at No. 143 D on the first floor. Kalbadevi is always moving, so there is never a dull moment when you look out the window. The office is tucked away in one of those older buildings that has seen a lot of history. We do a lot of work involving overseas stuff, which means we are often dealing with different time zones and plenty of emails. It’s not a large team here, just a few of us making sure everything moves from point A to point B without too many hiccups. Sometimes the internet acts up or the courier is late, but that’s just part of the job. The stairs up to the first floor are old but they hold up. We have stacks of documents and ledgers everywhere because we still like to keep a physical record of things. It feels safer that way. Most days are spent checking shipping schedules and talking to people on the other side of the world. It’s a lot of coordination. The air in the office usually smells like old paper and the tea someone just made. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us at our desks working through the daily pile of tasks. It's simple and it works for us.
