Marathe Engineering Industries

Our workshop is tucked away in the Municipal Industrial Estate at 4 Jacob Circle. If you know the area near K Khadye Marg, you know it gets pretty busy with all the trucks and people moving around. We’ve been set up here for a long time, surrounded by other shops doing all sorts of mechanical work. Most mornings start with the sound of the shutters going up and the smell of machine oil. It’s not a fancy place, just a solid floor with our equipment and a couple of desks for the paperwork. We spend our hours mostly looking at drawings or standing by the lathes. Sometimes the heat in the estate gets a bit much in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and stay on top of the jobs we have. People around here know us as the guys who just get on with it. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If someone comes by, they usually just walk right in and find us near the machines. It’s a bit noisy, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We handle the metalwork and the various parts people bring in, making sure things fit together like they should. It’s honest work, and we like being part of this old industrial community. When the day ends, we wipe down the tools, lock up, and head out into the Jacob Circle traffic like everyone else. We've seen businesses come and go in this estate, but we just keep doing our thing and helping out whoever walks through the door with a broken part or a new project.
