Mansa Mobile Service Centre

Our shop is right near the Lower Parel railway station at number 9. You can hear the trains going by all day long. It's a very busy part of town and we are right in the thick of it at Mansa Mobile Service Centre. People are always rushing to catch their train, but some stop in because they dropped their phone on the platform or the stairs. We see a lot of cracked screens because of that. The shop is small and we have to be smart with the space we have. We have our tools laid out on the main table. There is always a pile of phones waiting to be looked at. We take them one by one and do our best. It’s a lot of sitting and looking through magnifying glasses. The station nearby brings in all sorts of people. Some are regulars who work in the big offices nearby and others are just passing through on their commute. We open early because that’s when the first crowd starts moving through the station gates. The air is always a bit dusty from all the construction around Parel, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass counters. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture. Just some sturdy stools and the workbenches. It’s a practical place. If a phone can be fixed, we usually find a way to make it work again. We’ve been here long enough now that we don’t even notice the noise anymore.
