Manoj Ayurvedic Bhandar

Manoj Ayurvedic Bhandar is located in Charkop, right across from Laxmi Medical. Most people in this part of town know the spot because Laxmi Medical is quite a big landmark for the locals. Our shop is one of those places where you can find all sorts of traditional things that you might not see in a regular chemist. We have a lot of jars filled with powders and roots, and the smell of the shop is very distinct. It's a bit earthy and sweet at the same time. I usually start the day by sweeping the front and arranging the displays. It’s not a corporate setup by any means. It’s just a local shop where we know many of the customers by their first names. They come in for things their families have used for years. Sometimes we have to spend a bit of time searching through the back room to find a specific herb someone is looking for, but usually, we have what is needed right there on the counter. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years with more buildings going up, but our little corner feels pretty much the same. It can get busy on the weekends when people are off work and doing their shopping. We just try to keep things simple and honest. There’s no need for fancy talk when you’re just selling good, basic Ayurvedic stuff. We’re just here doing our bit every day.
