Manisha K Thakore is located over in the Babulnath View building on Dady Sheth Lane. This is a part of the city that has a very specific feel to it. Dady Sheth Lane is narrow and tucked away, filled with old structures and a lot of history. When you are here, you can feel the age of the neighborhood. Our space isn't huge, but it has a nice atmosphere because of where it is situated. We see the temple crowds and the local residents going about their business every single day. It is a quiet spot compared to the main roads, which we really like. Inside, things are kept simple. We don't have a lot of modern gadgets or sleek furniture. We have the basics that we need to do our work and a few plants on the windowsill. People often find us just by walking down the lane and seeing the sign. We like it that way because it feels more personal. Most of our visitors are people from the neighborhood or those who have been coming to this area for years. There is no corporate manual here or a list of rules about how to talk to people. We just treat everyone like a regular neighbor. Being in Babulnath View means we get a little bit of a breeze sometimes, which helps during the hot months. It’s just a normal, everyday place where we do our thing and stay out of the way of the big city.
