This is the workspace of Manish Kumar Intodia, located at 1003 in Malad East. Being up on the tenth floor gives a pretty good view of the surrounding buildings and the chaotic streets below. Malad East is a crowded place, so the office feels like a bit of a getaway from the street-level madness. It is a personal professional setup where most of the work happens at a single large desk. There are folders stacked up everywhere and a laptop that stays on almost all the time. The elevator in the building can be slow during the morning rush, so there is often a wait to get up here. The room is quiet once the door is shut, which is helpful for concentrating on the numbers and paperwork. I have a small balcony where I stand sometimes just to get a bit of sun. It is not a place with a lot of employees or a big reception desk. It is just a straightforward spot for a professional to handle daily business. There is a small cupboard for tea and biscuits, and that is about it for amenities. Most people who come by are here for a quick meeting or to drop off documents. The walls are a plain off-white color and I haven't gotten around to putting up many pictures. It is just a simple, honest office where the work gets done without any unnecessary fuss or bother.
