If you find yourself in New Panvel, specifically in Sector-5, you might pass by the Gauri Building. We are right there at D-1 on Plot No: 6&7. Mangalam Agencies has been operating out of this spot for a while now, and it’s a fairly straightforward operation. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks, some old computers, and a lot of ledgers piled up. We handle a lot of distribution and agency work, which means there are always people coming and going with delivery notes. The traffic on the road outside can get a bit hectic in the afternoons, but inside we just try to keep things organized. We don't use any fancy software for everything; a lot of it is still written down because that’s how we’ve always done it and it works fine. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just open the windows and keep going. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know how the others take their tea. It’s a local business through and through. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. People in the area know where we are if they need us. Usually, by the time evening rolls around, we’re just finishing up the last of the paperwork and locking up the metal shutters. It’s a simple life, and we like the routine of being here in Panvel.
