Manali Tele Watch

Manali Tele Watch is located at the corner of 4th Main and 10th Cross in Mumbai. It’s a fairly easy spot to find if you know the area well. We do a mix of things here, mostly dealing with watches and some basic phone stuff. The shop is quite narrow, so we have to use the wall space for all our displays and tools. It’s an old-fashioned kind of place, I suppose. We’ve got clocks on the walls ticking away and glass cases for the watches we sell. We also help people with their mobile recharges and small technical things like that. It’s a bit of a strange mix, but it works for us. The 10th Cross gets a lot of foot traffic, which is good for keeping the business going. Most of our customers are just passing by and notice something in the window. We don’t have any big corporate backing or a marketing team. It’s just us running the show every day from morning to night. Some of the watches have been in the case for a while, but we keep them clean and working. We like the regular rhythm of the neighborhood. You see the same faces every morning when the shops open up. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a small shop where you can get your watch battery changed or buy a new strap. It’s a decent way to spend the day and we enjoy the work.
