Malhar Traders

Malhar Traders is located at 9-25/A, Chandawadi, which is off C.P. Tank Road. We are in the Charni Road East area, specifically at number 138. If you know South Mumbai, you know that C.P. Tank is one of those places that is always packed with people and traffic. Chandawadi is a bit of a narrow lane, but it is where we have been for a long time. Our shop is old and has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We have stuff piled up because space is tight in this part of town. You have to be careful where you step sometimes. The noise from the bells of the temples nearby and the honking from the main road is constant. We like being in this old part of the city. There is a history here that you don't get in the newer areas. Most of our neighbors have been here as long as we have. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us making sure the trading gets done. We handle our customers face-to-face mostly. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of tea being shared. We don't try to polish things up for anyone. This is our life and our business, right in the middle of the bustle of Charni Road. We just keep the shop open and handle the daily trade as it comes through the door.
