Our place is on the first floor of Gautam Apartment, right near New Era Cinema on SV Road. If you know Malad West, you know how busy this stretch gets. We have rooms 26 and 27. It’s not a huge space, but we pack a lot into it. We deal with all sorts of goods that people need for their daily lives. Most of the time we are just unpacking boxes or checking inventory. It’s a lot of manual work. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights and music. It’s more of a practical setup where we keep things organized so we can find them when someone asks. Sometimes the stairs are a bit of a climb if you’re carrying something heavy. We’ve been here for some time now. People from the neighborhood drop in frequently. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Mumbai. We just want to have what people are looking for when they come by. There are days when it’s quiet and we just sit and drink tea, and other days where we can’t keep up with the orders. It’s just a regular business. We try to keep things simple. No big promises, just selling stuff from our spot on SV Road. We like being near the cinema because there’s always people around. It makes the days go by faster when you can see the crowds outside. We just keep doing our work every day.
