Majestic Design

You can find us on the ground floor over at 1 Jogeshwari West. It’s a simple space where we do all our work for Majestic Design. We didn’t want to be up in a high-rise because it’s much easier for people to just walk in off the street when we’re on the ground level. The office isn't very big, and we’ve had to get creative with how we store our samples and sketches. There are rolls of paper and different materials leaning against almost every wall in the back. We spend most of our day sitting at the big tables, drawing things out or looking at screen designs on the monitors. Jogeshwari is a fast-paced neighborhood, but inside here, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed so we can actually think about what we're doing. Sometimes the neighbor’s cat wanders in because we leave the door open for some fresh air, and we don't really mind. We aren't a big corporate firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us who actually like making things look good. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do or how we do it. We just listen to what people want and try to draw it up as best as we can. Our desks are usually a mess of pens and coffee mugs, but that’s just how we work every day. It’s an honest way to spend the time.
