You will find Mehta Co. Pvt. Ltd. at Shop No. 39 in the Masina Building. We are very close to Mahim station, so we hear the trains going by all day long. It is an old part of the city and our building has a lot of history to it. We have been here for years, and the shop has stayed pretty much the same. It is a small place, and we have things stacked up high on the shelves. We do a variety of business tasks and handle different types of supplies. It is not the kind of place that looks very modern, but it works for us. Usually, there are just two or three of us in the shop at any time. We know the other shopkeepers around here and we often chat with them during lunch. It is a very busy area, especially when the trains let out and everyone is rushing home. We get all sorts of people walking in. Some are looking for something specific, and others are just lost and looking for directions. We try to be helpful to everyone. We don't spend money on big signs or posters. People in Mahim know where we are. It is a practical business in a practical location. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get on with the day’s work.
