Maheen Lampwala

Maheen Lampwala has been around for a bit now, sitting right here in 503 Bhora Street. If you know the Sea King Arthur building near Bunder Road, that's where we are. It is a busy area, but we like it that way. We mostly handle different types of lamps and lighting stuff. People come in looking for specific things for their homes or maybe just a replacement part they can't find elsewhere. It isn't a fancy showroom with bright lights everywhere, just a practical space where we keep our stock. My family has been involved in this for some time. We spend most of our days organizing the inventory and talking to customers who walk in from the neighborhood. Sometimes the traffic on Bunder Road makes deliveries a bit slow, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city. We just want to make sure when someone needs a lamp fixed or a new one for their desk, they know they can stop by. The building is easy to find once you get off the main road. We keep regular hours, though sometimes we stay a bit late if there is a lot of work to finish up. It gets dusty with all the boxes, but that is just how it is when you deal with hardware and glass. We just focus on what is in front of us each day and try to keep things moving.
