Maharashtra Bearing Centre

Maharashtra Bearing Centre is located at 149 Masjid Bunder West. We are in New Fatimabai Chawl No 35, specifically in Bhanu Bhuvan. It’s an old-fashioned kind of place. If you come inside, you will see boxes of bearings stacked from the floor right up to the ceiling. There isn't much room to move around, to be honest. We have all kinds of bearings, some for small machines and some for big industrial ones. They are all covered in a bit of protective oil, so the shop has that distinct smell. Masjid Bunder is a very crowded area, and it can be quite a struggle just to get through the streets. We’ve been in Bhanu Bhuvan for a long time. We don't use any fancy marketing. Usually, it is just regular customers who have been coming to us for years. We spend the morning checking our stock and the afternoon dealing with deliveries. Sometimes we have to hunt through the back to find an unusual size that someone asked for. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy boxes and counting out small metal balls. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the stock well. It is a basic business, but we keep things moving. We just focus on bearings and nothing else. That’s life here at Maharashtra Bearing Centre. It is a crowded spot but we like it.
