Maglam Plywoods

We are located at Gala No A 20 in the Sai building. It’s part of the Tapi Ganga Market in Mulund East, quite close to the station. If you come by, you’ll probably smell the wood and sawdust before you see us. We have sheets of plywood stacked up high, making little aisles that we walk through. It’s a bit dark in the back of the gala. The market is always crowded, especially being so close to Mulund station. We get a lot of carpenters and people doing up their homes coming in. The floor is always covered in a thin layer of wood dust, no matter how much we sweep. We use a big saw sometimes to cut pieces down for people, which makes a lot of noise. It’s a small team here, and we mostly just wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. We keep our delivery logs on a clipboard hanging by the door. Sometimes the traffic in the market makes it hard for the delivery trucks to get close to the building. We just deal with it and carry the boards out by hand if we have to. It’s a simple business of selling wood to people who need it. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop here in the market. We stay busy with the local crowd and try to keep the stacks organized.
