You can find us, Magcons Consulting Engineers Pvt Ltd, at Chameli Niwas, Room No 1, on Gamdevi Road. We are right behind Maurya Hall in Bhandup West, Mumbai. It’s a small space, but it’s where we do all our consulting and engineering work. Being in Mumbai means it’s always crowded and noisy outside, but we’ve gotten used to it. We have a few desks squeezed into the room and a lot of shelves filled with old project files. We are a small group of engineers who have been working together for quite some time. We don't have a big corporate office or a fancy lobby. If you come to see us, you’ll just walk right into where we are working. We deal with a lot of local construction and technical problems. We don't spend money on advertising. Most people hear about us from other businesses in Bhandup. We just try to give practical advice and get the calculations right. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s important. Sometimes we have to go out to site visits, which gets us out of the cramped office for a bit. We don't have a big mission or any corporate slogans. We just show up every morning, drink our tea, and get to work on whatever project is on the desk. It’s a steady life and we’ve made many friends in the neighborhood over the years.
