We are based in Andheri West. Our office is specifically in the Lokhandwala area. The address is B 304 in Lennie Apartment. If you know Mumbai then you know how busy Lokhandwala can get. There is always something happening outside the window. Mafoi Management Consultants Limited is the name of our place. It is an apartment building that has a mix of residents and some other small businesses. The lift in the building is a bit slow and sometimes it gets stuck between floors so we mostly take the stairs if we are in a big hurry. Inside the office it is just a standard setup with desks and some old filing cabinets. We have a small window that looks out over the street below. It is quite loud with all the rickshaws and cars honking all day long. We have gotten used to the noise over the years. We spend our time going through files and talking to people on the phone. It is not a fancy corporate headquarters. It is just a functional space where we get our things done. Most of the staff live nearby so the commute is not too bad for everyone. We have tea around four o’clock in the afternoon and that is usually when we catch up on things. It is a simple way of working. There are no big meetings in glass rooms. We just sit around the table and talk.
