Madhura K Pandit

This place in Mulund East is where I handle all my work. It's on Narayan Dhuruv Street, inside the Rashtrasarathi building. I’ve lived around this area for many years, so setting up my practice here just made a lot of sense to me. My room is filled with books and files, and the window looks out onto the street where things are usually pretty active with people going to and from the station. I don't really have a big corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a personal space where I can focus on the tasks at hand. I handle everything myself, from answering the phone calls to doing the actual work. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask a quick question about something. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but it’s a nice enough area for a stroll. I started out small and just kept going as the years went by. There’s no big sign or neon lights, just a small nameplate on the door. Most days are spent reading through various documents or typing away at my old computer which still runs fine. It can get a bit stuffy in the summer months, but the ceiling fan does its job well enough for me. I like the quiet of this street compared to the main roads. It gives me the headspace I need to get things done right. I’m usually here from morning until the sun goes down, and then I just walk a few blocks back home.
