Mac-Chem

Mac-Chem is located in Ghatkopar East, specifically in Mellinium Park on Thillak Road. We’re up on the fourth floor, in room 405. It’s a quiet enough building for the most part, though the elevator can be a bit slow during the lunch hour. We’ve been operating out of this office for quite a while. We deal with chemical supplies and related stuff. It’s mostly paperwork and phone calls throughout the day, making sure things get from one place to another. We aren't a big laboratory or anything like that, just a small office where we manage the business side of things. There’s usually three of us here. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the busy street below. Ghatkopar is always moving, but we try to keep our office organized. Sometimes the files pile up on the desks and we have to spend a Saturday clearing things out. We don't do anything too fancy. We just talk to our suppliers and make sure our customers get what they ordered on time. Sometimes there are delays with shipping, and we have to spend all day on the phone trying to track things down. It’s a lot of coordination. We like being in this area because everything is close by, from the station to the little food stalls where we get our lunch. It’s a basic, functional workspace for us. We've been here long enough that it feels like a second home.
