Our office is on the 4th floor of the Delta Building, which is right in the Hiranandani Garden area of Powai. It’s a nice enough place, though the elevators can be a bit slow during the lunch rush. We are at Office No-401 D, and if you look out the window, you can see Technology Street down below. We are surrounded by big names like the Colgate Palmolive building, but our setup is much more modest. We deal with chemicals and lab supplies, so there’s usually a lot of talk about technical specs and delivery dates going on. The office is mostly open plan, which means it gets a bit noisy when everyone is on the phone at the same time. We have a small pantry where the kettle is almost always boiling. Being in Powai is convenient because everything is close by, but it also means we spend a lot of time stuck in traffic just trying to get to work. We don't have a big HR department or a polished public relations team. Most of the people here are either scientists or logistics folks who just want to get their work done and go home to their families. It’s a professional enough environment, but we definitely have our share of cluttered desks and disorganized files. It feels like a real office where people actually work. It’s a busy life here in the city.
