If you find yourself on Samuel Street, you’ll see we’re up on the first floor at number 236. The name on the door is Chemi Man. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for us to get through the daily tasks. Samuel Street is always packed with trucks and people moving things, so it can be a bit of a scramble getting in and out. We’ve been handling chemicals and related supplies from this office for a while now. It’s mostly just desks, files, and a lot of phone calls. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that because that’s not really what we do. It’s more about the logistics and making sure people get what they ordered for their own projects. Sometimes the stairs up to the first floor feel a bit steep after a long day, but it’s home for the business. We try to keep things organized, though with the amount of paperwork that comes with chemicals, there’s usually a stack of folders somewhere. It’s a practical way to run a business. No one here wears suits unless they really have to. We just talk to our regulars and keep the orders moving. It’s a bit of an old-school way of working, but it seems to work fine for us. We’ve been in this neighborhood long enough to know most of the neighbors. It’s just us doing what we know every day, without trying to be something we are not.
