Maa Shakti Udyog

You can find us on the third floor of the Anand Commercial Centre. It is right on S.V. Road in Santacruz West at number 386A. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, which is always packed with cars and people. It is a loud area, but inside the office, it is mostly just the sound of keyboards and the occasional fan. We have been in this building for a good while. Maa Shakti Udyog is not a huge operation, just a few of us trying to keep things organized. The elevator in the building can be a bit temperamental, so sometimes we just take the stairs for the exercise. S.V. Road is always buzzing, especially during the monsoon when the rain really comes down. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and talk about the news. It is a pretty standard commercial space. There are other businesses on our floor too, so we see the same faces every day in the hallway. We handle our daily tasks, answer the phones, and deal with the paperwork as it comes in. It is not glamorous work, but it is what we do. Most of us have been working here long enough that the commute feels like second nature. We know where the best snacks are sold downstairs. It is a decent place to spend the day and we have grown quite fond of this little corner of Santacruz. It stays busy from morning until night.
