M S Plast

M S Plast is located in Goregaon East, specifically in Sahkarwadi near the Virwani Estate. If you’ve ever walked around this part of town, you know it’s mostly industrial sheds and small manufacturing units. We’ve been in the B9 block for quite some time now. Our work is mostly about plastic molding and making small parts that other companies use. It’s a bit dusty and loud because of the machines, but that is just how an industrial estate works. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than I do. Most of our days are spent checking the heat settings and making sure the plastic pellets are feeding into the hoppers correctly. It’s not glamorous work, and my clothes usually end up with some grease on them by noon. We don’t have a big reception area or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the floor working or sitting on a plastic stool having some tea. The area around Sahar is always packed with trucks loading and unloading, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a puzzle. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a simple business built on being here every day and making sure the orders are filled. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making plastic components for the local market and keeping the machines running.
