If you find yourself in Andheri West, specifically around the industrial area, you’ll probably stumble across Gala No 139. That is where we at M S L Industries do our daily work. It is a bit of a noisy place, as you would expect from an industrial estate, with machines running and people shouting over the hum. We have been here for a while now, focusing on manufacturing and getting orders out the door. It isn't a place with a fancy lobby or air conditioning that actually works all the time. Instead, it’s a lot of metal, grease, and hard work. We mostly work with other businesses who need parts made to a certain size. We don't really have a big sales team. Most of our work comes from people who have been dealing with us for ten or twenty years. They know we just get on with it. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door during monsoon, but we just move the stock and keep going. We keep a small crew, mostly guys who have been with us since the start. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the local news while we work. It is a decent life. We don’t make big promises we can't keep. We just look at the drawings, give a price, and start the machines.
