M S Furniture

Our workshop is at 32 Kandivali East on Mm Road, very close to Shalinitai Hospital. It is a place where there is always the sound of cutting wood and the smell of varnish in the air. We make all kinds of furniture like cupboards, dining tables, and wooden frames for beds. The floor is usually covered in sawdust by the time we take our lunch break. We are a small group of workers who have been building things with our hands for a long time. We do not have a big showroom with bright lights or salesmen. Usually, people just walk into the workshop and show us a rough drawing of what they want for their home. We talk about the type of wood and how long it will take to finish. Kandivali has changed a lot over the years with new buildings coming up, but we have stayed in this same spot. Sometimes the ambulances going to the hospital make a lot of noise, but we are used to it by now. We don't spend money on ads. We just hope that if we make a solid chair, the customer will tell their neighbor about us. The work is dusty and our clothes are always stained with glue, but it is what we know how to do. We stay open until the evening to get the final polishing done on the orders.
