M Raza & Co

Our place is on L B S Marg at number 16 in Kurla East. If you know the road, you know there is always a lot of traffic and the sound of horns. We are right in the middle of it. M Raza & Co has been here for a while now. We do a mix of things, mostly dealing with gadgets and small electronics that people bring in. The shop has high ceilings which makes it feel bigger than it actually is. We have shelves that go all the way up to the top, filled with boxes and spare parts. We use a small metal ladder to reach the top ones when we need something. The dust from the main road comes in, so we are always wiping things down with a cloth. We have a couple of desks where we sit and talk to people who come in. Most of our day is spent checking equipment or writing down orders in our book. It’s not a fancy office, just a workspace that works for us and our customers. We have a small stove in the back to make tea in the afternoons. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other well. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back. It's a busy life on L B S Marg but we like the energy of Kurla. We see the same faces every week and it keeps us going.
