M M G Mobile & Electronic is located on Savli Road in Mumbai, and we do a bit more than just phones. While mobiles are our main thing, we also keep some small electronic items like pocket radios, torches, and basic speakers. Savli Road is a busy stretch, and we get all kinds of people coming through the door. Some are looking for the latest smartphone, while others just want a cheap cable because they left theirs at home. The shop isn't very modern; we have wooden shelves that we built ourselves and some old glass counters that have a few scratches on them. We don't follow any corporate rules here. If we feel like closing ten minutes early because it’s raining hard or there’s a local festival, we just do. Most of our work involves fixing screens that have been dropped on the pavement. It’s a lot of fiddly work with small screws, so our eyes are usually tired by the time we go home at night. We have a loyal group of people from the neighborhood who wouldn't go anywhere else. They know us by name and we know what kind of phones they use. We don't put on a show or try to sell you something you don't need. We just provide what’s available and try to be as helpful as we can with the tools and parts we have on hand. It’s just a normal day for us on Savli Road.
