We’ve been here at Karamchand Mansion for quite some time now, right behind the Metro Cinema. If you know Barrack Road, you know how busy it gets with all the people coming for movies and the traffic. Our place is full of machinery parts and heavy equipment that we’ve been dealing with for years. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a lot of metal, some grease, and desks piled with ledgers. The building itself has that old feel, with high ceilings and walls that have seen a lot of seasons. Most days it’s just us answering the phone, checking stock in the back, and making sure the orders for the workshops get sent out on time. People usually find us by looking for the cinema first and then tucking into the lane behind it. It can get a bit loud outside, but inside we just focus on the machines. We don't really do much advertising. Most folks who come here have been coming for a decade or more because they know where we sit and what we have on the shelves. Sometimes the stairs are a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it, but that's just part of being in this part of town. We keep things simple. If we have the part, we tell you. If we don’t, we see when it’s coming. It’s a straightforward way to run things, and it works for us.
