Lucky Time

Lucky Time is our small shop located over in Colaba at Po 560-B. This business has been in the family for a whole generation. We deal specifically with watches and clocks of all kinds. The main room is always filled with the sound of ticking, which is actually very peaceful once you get used to the rhythm. Sometimes all the clocks chime at the same time and it is a bit of a loud mess, but it usually makes us laugh. We have a small wooden workbench in the corner where we keep all the tiny screwdrivers and magnifying glasses. My eyes are not as sharp as they used to be, so I use a bright lamp that is clipped to the edge of the table. We get all sorts of people walking through the door. Some have very expensive watches that just need a new battery, and others bring in old wall clocks that have not worked in twenty years. We take our time with every piece. There is never any rush here. The shop is small, so it feels very crowded if more than three people are inside at the same time. We have a few stools for people to sit on while they wait for a quick fix. The floor is made of old wood and it creaks when you walk near the counter. We do not do any advertising at all.
