Lucky Telecom & Mobile Centre

Lucky Telecom & Mobile Centre is located right on Mahakali Road, at number 4. It’s a prominent enough spot, but the shop itself is quite modest. We focus mostly on mobile stuff and telecom services, which keeps us pretty busy from the moment we pull up the shutters. Mahakali Road is always humming with traffic, especially with people heading towards the caves or the offices nearby. Inside the shop, we’ve got glass displays that we have to wipe down every few hours because of the dust. We sell recharges, SIM cards, and secondhand phones that still have plenty of life left in them. There’s a stool behind the counter that’s seen better days, and a small fan that wobbles when it’s on the high setting. We get a lot of students and office workers coming in asking for quick fixes or a new screen guard. It’s the kind of place where the door is always open, and the sounds of the street are just part of the background. We don't put on any acts here; we just tell people honestly if a phone is worth fixing or if they should just get a new one. In the evenings, the streetlights come on and the area gets even busier, but we just stay focused on the work at the counter. It’s a simple life running a shop on Mahakali Road, and we’ve made some good friends among the locals. We just keep things running as best as we can.
