Living Home

Our place is at 324/2587 in Bangur Nagar. It's a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to the numbering system in this colony. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a few years. It’s a ground floor space, so it stays relatively cool even when the sun is hitting the building hard in the afternoon. Living Home is just what we do every day. There are usually a couple of us around, sitting at the desks or moving boxes if a delivery comes in. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it’s quiet until the kids get out of school. Then it gets noisy for a bit. We keep things pretty basic inside. A few chairs for guests and a big table where we do most of our writing and math. It’s not a showroom or anything fancy like that. Just a working office where we keep track of things. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, so we just sit outside and talk to the neighbors. It’s a decent life here. We don't really bother with big signs. People who know us just find the door. The fan makes a bit of a clicking sound but nobody really notices it anymore. It feels like a second home to all of us who work here. We mostly drink tap water from the filter and bring tiffins from home to eat around the big table. It’s a simple life and we like it that way.
