Little Champs

Little Champs is located at number 2, Laxmi Sadan, which sits right on Gokhale Road North in Dadar West. We are quite close to Amar Hind Mandal, so most people in the neighborhood use that as a landmark to find us. It’s a typical Dadar building, a bit old but sturdy. We set up shop here because the area is always full of families and kids. Our space is on the ground floor, which makes it easier for the younger ones to get in and out without dealing with too many stairs. It’s not a huge place, just a couple of rooms that we’ve filled with chairs and some colorful posters on the walls to make it look a bit more lively. On rainy days, the lane gets a bit muddy, but that’s just how it is in this part of Mumbai. We’ve known some of the neighbors for years, and they often stop to say hello while we are opening up in the morning. We don't really have a formal reception desk, usually one of us is just sitting near the entrance with a register. It’s a bit of a squeeze when parents come to pick up their children, but everyone is patient enough. We just try to keep things organized and focus on the students who come through our doors every day. There is always a lot of activity on Gokhale Road, so it never feels lonely.
